Abbie has racked up a wealth of commercial experience in the makeup artist industry since launching Abbie Beauty in 2006. Abbie loves the creative aspect of makeup and is often hired to create looks for many of New Zealand’s finest Hairdressers which has taken her overseas for live competition shows around the world. Abbie is very passionate about makeup education and mentoring many new makeup artists working towards their own careers in an industry that is thriving. She works closely with her Private Clients and Brides, she has a calm, kind demeanour and knows the importance of these special occasions. Abbie has recently added Eyeliner Tattooing and Scalp Micro Pigmentation (SMP) to her list of services.

Career highlights for Abbie was meeting Oprah while working on ‘An Evening with Oprah’ applying makeup for Oprah’s DJ, DJ Fuzzy for their live performance. She also designed and applied the makeup for Lorde in her debut song ‘Royals’ that has had over 800 million views.

As a Makeup Artist for MAC’s Auckland freelance team, Abbie was involved in numerous NZ Fashion Weeks, made up Lorde for her groundbreaking ‘Royals’ Music Video, and was the Key Makeup Artist at numerous Body Painting events.
